16 - 4th Sunday of Lent
In the story of the healing of the blind man, the focus seems to be this: "Who sinned . . . the blind man or his parents." Jesus makes the statement that "Neither he nor his parents sinned; (the healing) is so that the works of God might be made visible through him!" The Pharisees, always trying to "trap" Jesus, keep the quarrelsome questions coming!
Jesus concludes with a perspective that only He, the Devine Son of God, can offer: "I came into the world for judgment, so that those who do not see might see, and those who do see might become blind!"
