The prayer Jesus prayed in John, chapter 17, was not only for His disciples but also for all believers of future generations. He expressed His highest desire: that they may be one, united in love, as He and His Father are one. The “oneness” of this loving relationship will then communicate the message of unity in Christ to the whole world! Today, He wants believers to know that the “peace of Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit” are available to us and to all who come after us!
