When will Jesus return?  The fact is no one knows!  Only God knows the day and the hour when Jesus will return!

Over the years, there have been many predictions about when Jesus will return; but they have all failed to materialize.  So-called prophets have claimed to have a special vision or some exclusive understanding, and may have even convinced a few others. Ultimately, these false prophesies have been exposed.

We read in the Book of Saint Mark, chapter 13, about the return of Christ, “but of that day or hour no one knows, neither the angels in Heaven nor the Son but only the Father” (vs. 32).

While we wait, what, then, are we supposed to do?

In our Scripture reading today, Jesus impresses upon His disciples the importance of being watchful!  The Gospel says that all will “see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory” (Mark 13:26; Matthew 24:30)!

When will Jesus return?  The fact is no one knows!  Only God knows the day and the hour when Jesus will return!
